The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

As this is a term-time, part-time post the salary will be pro-rata to the hours worked. Reporting directly to the Head Teacher, you will have responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of a comprehensive clerical and administration service supporting the operations of Edinbarnet Primary School. You will ensure the smooth running of the school office and provide a welcoming and efficient reception service whilst responding to all enquiries via telephone or from visitors to the establishment.

In addition, you will manage and maintain school data ensuring all information is up to date and accurately recorded on computerised systems. General office duties will include:

  • Photo-copying
  • Filing
  • Document preparation
  • Mail recording/distribution
  • Assisting with the arrangement of transport and trips/outings
  • Routine cash handling duties e.g. receiving and recording payments for school activities, uniforms etc.

You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and have excellent organisational and communication skills.

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.

The employment for which you are applying is excepted from the provisions of section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975.
