The posts are fixed term until 19/10/2025.
Hourly rate – £12.56
These are part-time, term-time posts. The salary will be pro-rata to the number of hours worked.
(Work Pattern for posts 1 and 2):
- Post 1 – 14.25 hours per week – Our Lady & St Patrick\’s High School (Monday – Thursday 4.00pm – 7.00pm, Friday 3.30pm – 5.45pm)
- Post 2 – 14.25 hours per week – Dumbarton Academy (Monday – Thursday 4.00pm – 7.00pm, Friday 3.30pm – 5.45pm)
- Post 3 – 16.00 hours per week – Balloch Campus (Monday – Thursday 3.00pm – 6.15pm, Friday 3.00pm – 6.00pm)
Vacancies have arisen for Cleaning Operatives within the Dumbarton area.
The post holder will be responsible for providing a high-quality, responsive cleaning service within the premises. The successful candidate will carry out general cleaning duties, ensuring high standards are maintained while adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.
Applications are invited from individuals who can offer availability for late afternoon work patterns. Applicants will be asked to select their preference according to their availability. Please note that while some flexibility may be considered, the core cleaning times are as stated.
Requirements
This post is considered a Regulated Role with Children under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020, and membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details can be found here. Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the PVG scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer.
Responsibilities
The employment is excepted from the provisions of section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975.
