Overview

This is a part time post and the salary will be pro-rata to the number of hours worked. At Queens Quay House we put the needs of our Residents first and are committed to delivering high standards of person-centred care in our busy and Modern Home. We provide choices and independence to ensure Residents feel safe and supported in their home.

We are looking for dynamic and caring Night shift Care Assistants to provide personal care and support to residents as directed by senior staff, maintain a clean, fresh and homely environment, and deliver person-centred care for individuals and groups of residents through a range of duties including personal care and meaningful activities. You will support residents throughout the night to maintain their independence, assist and support them as required, and engage with Residents to understand their preferences in how they would like to be cared for. The role involves responding to enquiries from a wide range of people, including families and health professionals. Strong communication, problem-solving and people skills are essential. An organised, positive, can-do approach and the ability to work well under pressure with Senior Supports are important.\”
