About West Digital
West Digital is a full-service post-production, podcast, broadcast and events facility based in West London. Since 2002 we have been at the heart of the UK screen industry, working with broadcasters, independent producers, brands and content creators, from long-form drama and factual television to award-winning podcasts and live events. This is a pivotal moment for the business. The lines between broadcast, podcast, social and live content are blurring fast, and West Digital is uniquely positioned to serve clients across all of them. We are an Ecologi partner, powered by 100% renewable energy, and proud of the relationships and reputation we have built over more than two decades. We care about the people and industry around us, and that shows in how we work.
The role
This is a senior operational role at the centre of the business. You will be responsible for running the facility day-to-day, managing bookings across our broadcast suites, podcast studios, event space and post-production services, ensuring every client is quoted accurately, confirmed promptly and billed correctly. Financial rigour is central to this role. You will own the revenue tracking for studio and post-production bookings, ensure nothing falls through the billing cracks, and bring a commercial sharpness to quoting, invoicing and utilisation. You will understand the numbers well enough to spot where revenue is being left on the table and do something about it. You will also play an active part in the wider commercial life of the business: developing partnerships, attending industry events, supporting sales conversations and helping us grow our presence across broadcast, podcasting and the creator economy. You will be client-facing, commercially minded and genuinely curious about where the industry is heading.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all studio bookings across broadcast, podcast, event and post-production services
- Ensure the facility is correctly configured and prepared for every client session
- Coordinate the technical team to ensure smooth delivery across all bookings
- Maintain and develop operational processes, systems and documentation
- Oversee the facility environment, presentation, equipment readiness and day-to-day upkeep
Financial management and revenue
- Own the quoting process for all services, preparing accurate, competitive quotes for post-production, studio hire and events across TV, film, brand and creator budgets
- Understand the meaningful differences between a broadcast commission budget, an independent film budget and a creator or brand brief, and price accordingly
- Ensure all completed work is invoiced promptly and accurately, with no unbilled sessions or services
- Track studio utilisation and identify gaps, proactively working to fill downtime and maximise revenue
- Maintain clear, up-to-date financial records for bookings and flag discrepancies early
- Work with the founders on package pricing and service bundling to grow average booking value
- Identify and act on revenue opportunities: upsells, add-on services and repeat booking incentives
Partnerships and business development
- Develop partnerships with production companies, agencies, podcast networks, brands and creator communities
- Work with the Business Development Manager to support and grow the new business pipeline
- Attend networking events and industry functions to represent West Digital
- Look for opportunities to bring clients and collaborators together through events and shared projects
Client relationships
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients from initial enquiry through to delivery and invoicing
- Build strong, lasting relationships with existing clients to support retention and repeat business
- Understand client needs across broadcast, podcast, events and digital content
Events
- Assist in the planning and delivery of studio and external events
- Coordinate logistics for client-facing events, screenings, panels and live recordings
- Identify opportunities to host events that strengthen client and industry relationships
What we are looking for
- 3-5 years in a facility, production or operations role
- Strong understanding of the UK TV and film production market
- Experience quoting across different budget types and service lines
- Financial confidence: invoicing, utilisation tracking, revenue management
- Sharp attention to billing detail -- nothing slips through
- Excellent client-facing communication and relationship skills
- Genuine interest in podcasting, creator content and social media
- Understanding of how content is made and distributed in 2026
- Comfortable representing the business at events and in the industry
- Experience developing partnerships or commercial relationships
- Organised, proactive and comfortable working at pace
- Passionate about the industry and where it is heading
It would be a bonus if you have:
- Experience working in a studio/facility environment
- An existing network in the London production, broadcast or creator community
- Familiarity with studio management, booking or invoicing software
What we offer
- A senior role with real responsibility at an established West London broadcast and production facility
- Salary: £38,000-£45,000 depending on experience
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- A team that takes craft, quality and client relationships seriously
- The opportunity to grow with the business as we expand across broadcast, podcast, events and digital content
- A genuinely varied mix of work, no two weeks are the same
