We are now seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to support our teaching team. The post holder will supervise whole classes under the guidance of teaching/senior staff, implementing work programmes, managing behaviour, and supporting pupils in line with school policies, and will supervise and support pupils with set work, maintaining a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage behaviour and respond to procedural questions (not lesson content).
  • Collect completed work and report to teachers on behaviour/issues.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support and assist on trips or activities as required.
  • Promote safeguarding, health & safety, and the school's values.

  • Can engage and motivate children effectively.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
