As part of our commitment to meet and respond quickly to the needs of our students, we wish to appoint individuals to join the bank of temporary lecturing staff within the areas of Hairdressing, Barbering and Make-Up Artistry.

Candidates must be highly creative, organised and passionate about supporting and motivating our students and hold a qualification at SCQF Level 7 (e.g. HNC) or above in a relevant subject area for Hairdressing, SCQF Level 5 qualification in relevant subject for Barbering and for Make Up Artistry either a SCQF Level 8 (e.g. HND) qualification in Make Up Artistry or a SCQF Level 7 (e.g. HNC) qualification in Fashion Make Up.

You should have up to date knowledge of current trends, relevant software and digital technologies, must be able to communicate effectively and work well as part of a dynamic team. Previous teaching/lecturing experience is desirable; however, if you are new to teaching we will work with you to support you in this exciting career change. Successful candidates must be prepared to work towards a professional teaching qualification, if not already fully qualified.
