Location: Primarily Paisley Campus with Cross Campus remit

We deliver exceptional learning and vocational training opportunities to the West of Scotland region.
We are looking to increase our bank staff for Acting and Technical Theatre for working during the day and possibly in the evening. The successful candidates will participate in appropriate preparation work; teaching and learning activities; and the assessment and support of students. Candidates will ensure that all lesson preparation, teaching and assessment is effectively carried out and is in accordance with the latest Unit specification/Descriptor/Syllabus.
To support delivery across our campuses, we are looking for experienced and versatile individuals with relevant industry experience to inspire and teach students in the following subjects:
- Acting, voice and movement technique.
- Textual analysis.
- Directing, devising and writing.
- Set construction and prop making.
- Lighting/sound design and operation.
- Stage management skills.
Successful candidates will be qualified to SCQF Level 8, or equivalent, for example, HND in a relevant Acting or Technical Theatre subject area and have recent and up to date industrial experience within the subject area. Teaching experience is desirable but not essential. You must be able to communicate effectively and work well as part of a team.
