- WCS0001282: 15 hours x 52 weeks: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 9:00am.
- WCS0001283: 16 hours x 52 weeks: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 6am to 9am and Tue 6am to 10am.
- WCS0001284: 16 hrs x 40 weeks Term Time: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 6:00am – 9:00am and Wednesday 6:00am – 10:00am.
Job Overview: The Cleaning Assistant will work with the Team Leader Operations in the delivery of a common, efficient, and cost‑effective cleaning service and to achieve and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the College's buildings.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Clean all surfaces, furnishings and fittings using specified equipment and cleaning products.
- Perform duties as appropriate in a non‑domestic environment.
- Work unsupervised; communicate effectively with colleagues, staff, students and members of the public.
- Maintain health and safety standards in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Basic understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act.
- Experience providing cleaning services in a non‑domestic environment.
- Experience using a variety of cleaning equipment and products.
- Ability to work unsupervised and communicate effectively.
