West College Scotland is seeking an exceptional senior leader to join its Executive Team as Vice Principal - Learning, Skills & Student Success, at a pivotal point in the delivery of our Strategic Plan 2026–2030 and transformation programme, Shaping Our Future Together (SOFT). Reporting to the Principal & Chief Executive, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for learning, skills and the student experience, ensuring provision is high-quality, inclusive, financially sustainable and aligned to regional and national skills priorities.

You will shape a future-focused learning portfolio, drive performance and quality, and lead innovation that delivers strong outcomes and progression for learners. You will be a values-led executive with senior leadership experience, ideally in FE, education or a related sector, with a strong track record of leading change, improving performance and managing complex budgets. You will bring credibility at Executive and Board level, a deep understanding of the skills landscape, and a collaborative, inclusive leadership style.
