Part Time, 17.5 hours per week

Grade 3, £29,087 - £31,432 pro rata, per annum (Initial salary placement will normally be on the first point of the scale and will increase by annual incremental progression)

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a variety of tasks needed to manage the campus Estates office and overall Estates Department and for assisting the Head of Estates and other estates staff with their duties. You will provide administrative support to ensure that Estate Departmental operations are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner including but not limited to:

  • Type up correspondence, reports and other documents
  • Maintain office files
  • Open and distribute the mail
  • Take minutes at meetings
  • Maintain the Estates Departmental help desk and the main phone line response
  • Oversee stock and inventory supplies and equipment

You will be qualified to SCQF Level 5 e.g. Standard Grades at Credit or Intermediate 2 or NC/NPA and it is essential that you have some experience in the role of an Administrative Assistant. You must have experience of using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, along with good organisational skills and have the ability of being thorough and methodical. The successful candidate will be calm with a positive, enthusiastic and cheerful attitude. It is essential that you can work on your own when necessary but also be able to work as part of a team along with the ability to work out of hours if required in emergencies.
