The Job Role
As the Outbound Supervisor, you will support the operation where required looking to improve efficiency and ensure an effective operation is established and maintained.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:
- Checking deliveries/collections, signing paperwork
- Making sure CHEP pallets are ordered, and they are di-hired in the system.
- Picking and packing customers orders to high standard
- Loading and unloading
- Making sure retail orders are packed as per the spec provided and all orders are checked once done.
- Investigating stock discrepancies
- Ensuring productivity levels are high and targets are achieved.
- Organizing collections to the suppliers.
- Liaising with customers via email, Teams, and phone.
- Leading and supervising the team to achieve operational plan in all areas.
- Training and developing warehouse colleagues.
- Data entry into Warehouse Management System.

- Detailed understanding of warehouse management system.
- Previous experience of managing and leading a warehouse team.
- Previous experience within a fast-paced warehouse environment and a good understanding of returns measures and processes.
- An organised and methodical approach to work.
- Able to follow warehouse processes and procedures.
- Attention to detail, able to complete repetitive tasks to a high standard.
- Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Able to work to tight deadlines and within a fast paced and high-pressure environment.
- Able to work unsupervised.
- Experience with a recognised WMS (Manhattan, Infor, SAP) would be desirable.
- Strong communication skills via email or phone.
- Have a positive attitude with a focus on problem solving.
