What is the role?
Working with a dedicated set of accounts you will take a customer-focused approach to managing all orders - from receipt through to shipment and delivery - ensuring we deliver maximum fulfilment at minimal operational cost.
You will be an individual who takes an analytical and methodical approach, ideally with strong operational experience gained within a sales support, operations, or administrative environment. The role provides an excellent opportunity for an individual to develop an understanding of the IT sector with particular emphasis on operations and supply chain.
If you join us, this is what your day to day will look like:
- Managing the customer order process from receipt of order through to shipment and delivery
- Arranging deliveries and ensuring all are compliant with the specifications of the customers’ DC
- Stock Management - Liaising with product management and re-allocating stock to ensure max. fill rate
- Resolving delivery problems and communicating any delays to the customer DC’s
- Communicating stock availability and lead time information to customers
- Forecast Management
- Attending Conference Calls. Preparing meeting files and distributing meeting minutes
- Resolving customer queries and complaints quickly and courteously
- Reporting on customer stock and sales
- Supporting the External Account Managers
- Undertaking ad hoc company projects as required
