Over the past decade, Westcoast Cloud has experienced substantial growth. The team now comprises over 70 members, and the company is recognised as a leading Cloud Solution Provider. This position is offered on a hybrid basis, allowing work from our modern offices in Theale, Reading (near M4 Junction 12), which feature ample parking and are conveniently located near Theale Train Station.
The Job Role
You’ll play a key part in the growth of the Westcoast Cloud business, through identifying new reseller opportunities across the UK and Ireland. You’ll open and build the relationship with existing resellers, qualifying the opportunities and seeing them through the Westcoast Cloud expertise and offerings, as well as assisting your team in helping them accelerate Microsoft’s Partner Offerings. You’ll visit customer sites for meetings, presenting the full range of Cloud products and services – selling the benefits, running training bootcamps, lunch and learns and attending our range of events. As the main point of contact for our Surestep ambassadors, yourself and your team will be expected to deliver a high level of customer service when supporting them with queries and issues and going above and beyond to provide support where and when necessary.
You’ll need some previous experience selling within the IT channel, either at a distributor or reseller, ideally with experience with either Microsoft or Cloud. You’ll have a track record in new business development, as well as a drive to succeed in a fast-paced, hard-working environment.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:
- Qualify Partner opportunities and build relationships with our Partners.
- Manage a team responsible for our Microsoft Surestep offerings.
- Maintain a high degree of customer services for all Partners and your team keeping on top of queries and adhere to all service management principles.
- Take ownership of Partner challenges and be proactive when dealing with Partners.
- Signpost effectively and efficiently within the cloud team and to other parts of the business.
- Assist in creating business plans.
- Visiting customer sites for meetings/presentations to promote Microsoft offerings.
- Monitor progress against customer SLA’s to ensure customer service levels are achieved.
- Record activities on CRM.
- Maintain & develop technical skills/Certifications as required.
