The Job Role

As Business Development Manager, you will make pro-active calls and visits to Westcoast’s existing customer base selling the value of both Acer & ASUS.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:

  • On site customer visits when appropriate to build partner relationships and engage with sales staff.
  • Day to day ownership and management of the Acer & ASUS sales business development in the Authorised Partner space.
  • Development of key Acer & ASUS relationships.
  • Create and follow up on sales floor pipeline.
  • Identifying and acting on new opportunities and promoting Westcoast’s value add services.
  • Highlighting the larger deals to Westcoast Senior Management.
  • Consistently develop understanding of Acer & ASUS’s offering within Westcoast.
  • Building excellent relationships within your team and among the wider team including product and marketing.
  • Be able to deliver training to partners highlighting the benefits and USP’s of Acer & ASUS.

  • Track record in Sales & New business (Experience in IT Distribution or IT is desirable but not essential).
  • Commercially minded.
  • Quick to pick up complex processes.
  • Develop your understanding of processes and quoting whilst developing into a pro-active sales role.
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations with confidence and professionalism.
  • Clear and personable communication skills at all levels.
  • Ability to manage your time and workload.
  • Desire to continuously develop your IT knowledge.
