The Job Role
Working in our Product Management function is an exciting opportunity to grow your market and product knowledge.
As a Vendor Manager you will be vital to the continuous growth in our Cloud and Cyber Business, developing key customer relationships, selling the value of the Westcoast Cloud proposition, providing a consultative service to potential customers, reaching attach service revenue targets, creating and delivering compelling proposals. You will promote new & existing products and deliver product training further consolidating our position as the leading cloud distributor.
You will also play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the business, managing relationships with our existing vendors, maximising rebate earnings where applicable, liaising with the relevant sales & technical teams to provide detailed feedback & reports as per Business Unit requests.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:
- Regular engagement across our vendors, key clients & sales teams to build collaborative relationships as well as working closely with our marketing team to develop marketing campaigns and events
- On-boarding new supporting vendors
- Developing your own product knowledge regularly to ensure you deliver excellent training and support to the relevant team members.
- Creation of collateral and price lists to aid the sales teams, and keeping the company SharePoint site updated

To be successful in this role you will have some of the following skills and experience and the desire to develop in other areas:
- Passionate about software and delivering excellence. A further understanding of cyber security technologies is a bonus
- Experience in a Sales or Product/Vendor Management role – ideally 1-3 years
- Self-motivated with a commitment to succeed in a target-driven environment, demonstrating your ability to work independently as well as being comfortable in a team environment.
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal with a confident and professional telephone manner
- Organised with good time-management skills
- Strong commercial acumen
- Committed to grow your skills through learning and development
