Westcoast Cloud are one of the UK and Ireland’s leading indirect cloud distributors specialising in managed cloud services and solutions. Westcoast Cloud have been an essential piece of the cloud channel since 2014 in the UK and Ireland and have seen our approach of educating and enabling partners to become a huge success. We have grown from 5 to more than 70 staff and we currently provide this service to partners and hold large market share across all indirect distributors in each of the Microsoft service pillars (Modern Workplace (Office 365), Intelligent Cloud (Azure) and Power Platform (Dynamics).

This position is based at our modern offices in Theale, near Reading (near M4 Junction 12), with ample parking and conveniently located near Theale Train Station. Our Sales Teams look after small to medium size business right through to some of the largest resellers across the UK. Working with these accounts can be demanding. In this Outbound Sales role, you will drive new business across your account base with the aim of growing the accounts and pro-actively managing new opportunities. You will pro-actively manage and create new opportunities with existing accounts and new ones to Westcoast/ Westcoast Cloud, developing relationships and growing the accounts to full potential. As part of the security sales team, your focus will be on developing relationships with new and existing clients, as well as driving business development. Vital in maximising growth across a select account base, your role will be mapping, targeting and qualifying accounts through pro-active calls and applying your tenacity to ensure that your individual KPI’s are met along with hitting team targets.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Managing accounts to ensure positive customer experience, sustained and enhanced customer relationships, and revenue growth within accounts.
  • Handling new business, relationship development, leveraging solutions, & services, and new offerings.
  • Developing and penetrating named and target accounts within vertical market.
  • Focus on growing and developing new business by proactively calling and engaging partners to grow sales for assigned accounts and rebuilding of underpenetrated and neglected relationships with Westcoast customers.
  • Working with Westcoast Account Managers on increasing business within their named accounts.
  • Driving sales growth through new partners, rebuilding of underpenetrated and neglected relationships. Focus on growing and developing new business; proactively calling and engaging partners to grow sales for Vendors. Identify, enable and develop high-potential and non-repeat partners. Generating new partner opportunities and follows-up on with Vendor generated leads.
  • Driving the renewal process from start to finish by providing renewal quotes and loading renewal orders on internal systems and vendor portals.

To be successful in this role you will have some of the following skills and experience and the desire to develop in other areas:

  • Previous sales experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge or a keen interest in IT, Cyber Security or technology would be beneficial.
  • Aptitude to work independently to uncover new opportunities.
  • An excellent communicator and relationship builder.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations with confidence and professionalism.
  • Entrepreneurial and ambitious, with the drive to exceed targets.
  • A willingness to learn and motivation to continuously develop your industry knowledge.
