About the Role

Our stations team at London Euston is looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service Assistant - Pre Boarder to join us. At Avanti West Coast, we aim to be the transport of choice, connecting communities across the West Coast. Are you PASSIONATE about delivering excellent customer service with INTEGRITY? Do you have an AMBITIOUS drive to make a difference? Then this is your opportunity!

As a Customer Service Assistant - Pre Boarder, you will:

  • Greet customers at the pre-boarding podium and provide assistance and information.
  • Accompany vulnerable customers on board trains.
  • Be visible and proactive in customer interactions.
  • Assist with travel guidance, ticket purchases, and timetable inquiries.
  • Help manage queues and support customers using ticket machines.

Full training will be provided. You will also receive benefits such as a final salary pension, free travel for you and your family, privilege travel discounts, holiday entitlement, and free journeys on other First Group Train Operators.
