We are recruiting Welcome Hosts for our Manchester Talent Bank. Do you have a passion and take pride in delivering excellent customer service? Do you get a buzz from making a difference to others? Here at Avanti West Coast, we are pushing the boundaries to set new standards for customer experience and operational excellence across our network to the communities we serve. No day on the railway is the same, with over 500,000 customers travelling on our network weekly. Our Welcome Hosts are committed to keeping our customers safe at the station and play a vital role in keeping the network moving seamlessly.
Responsibilities:- Working with the On Board and Station teams to provide our customers with a safe, relaxing journey in a welcoming, friendly and professional way.
- Communicate effectively with On Board and Stations teams to create an amazing customer experience whilst being safe, always ensuring your own personal safety and that of others at all times.
- Assist customers with their travel needs, ensuring concise and accurate information is provided.
- Assist in duties at times of service disruption and emergencies ensuring that appropriate advice is relayed to customers.
- Provide assistance and information to customers using your initiative and empowerment when finding solutions to customers and other people's problems.
If you are successful you'll be placed in a Talent Bank. Various contracts available.
