West Coast Motors is a privately owned family business established in the early 1920’s. We operate buses and coaches on a mix of school contracts, local services, school and private group hires across Argyll with local depots in Glasgow, Campbeltown, Ardrishaig, Oban, Mull, Bute and Dunoon.
We have a fantastic opportunity for Trainee Bus Drivers to join our team based at our depot in Dunoon. Full and part time opportunities available.
This is the perfect opportunity if you are looking for a change of career. Driving through the beautiful Scottish scenery makes the perfect office view! We have our very own in-house training school, and we will cover the cost of your training up to the value of £2,500 which includes your theory and practical tests, travelling expenses and accommodation*. We will support and guide you through your training journey and provide ongoing training once you achieve your PCV licence.
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service and a safe and comfortable journey for our passengers
Be patient and able to work confidently on your own
Able to handle cash and card payments responsibly
Be a key worker in the local community to take customers to their destination safely and on time
Requirements:
A full endorsement free driving licence
At least one year driving experience
Enthusiastic and willing to learn
Live within driving distance of Dunoon
