At West Coast Motors, we understand that not everyone is looking for full-time hours. This role offers the chance to stay connected to the industry, use your skills, and earn a stable income – without the demands of committing to full-time hours.

What we can offer:

  • A stable and supportive working environment
  • The opportunity to remain active in a hands-on role without the full-time pressures

About the role:

You’ll be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of our fleet, ensuring vehicles are safe, roadworthy and maintained to a high standard. You’ll be working alongside a supportive team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in maintaining public service or heavy goods vehicles and SVQ Level 3 in Bus and Coach Engineering & Maintenance (or international equivalent)
  • A practical, reliable approach with strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive workplace

Full UK driving licence is required; PCV licence desirable. This role would suit someone who enjoys the trade, but is looking to step back from full-time work, or someone seeking a consistent and flexible part-time position. If you have the drive and determination to succeed in this role, we would love to hear from you. Safety is at the heart of what we do. As a safety-critical business, all roles play a part in keeping our people and passengers safe, and offers of employment are subject to a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
