Hungerford Primary School seeks to appoint an excellent, experienced and inspirational specialist PE coach to join us in September 2025 to deliver high quality PE lessons to all classes during their class teacher’s Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time. We are a vibrant and inclusive school in the heart of the North Wessex Downs with a school community whose staff, pupils and parents are passionate about sport and PE.
The role will require the applicant to organise intra-school and inter-school sports events in addition to their coaching role. This position is suitable for both Qualified Teachers and those with experience coaching PE and sporting activities to young people.
To be the successful candidate you will need to:
- Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons from Foundation Stage – Year 6
- Be resourceful, innovative and committed to professional development
- Have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
