The Role
Are you passionate about providing excellent catering services within a supportive and rewarding environment? West Berkshire Council is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our Adult Social Care Team at Greenfield House Resource Centre.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with food preparation and cooking
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety
- Washing up and cleaning kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and tidy
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen environment is desirable
- Basic food hygiene knowledge
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication skills
