If so, West Berkshire Council has an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Principal Sport & Leisure Officer.
As Principal Sport & Leisure Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the Sport & Leisure Manager in the strategic development and management of sport and leisure services across West Berkshire. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to enhance sport and leisure activities for residents of all ages.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee development and implementation of sport and leisure strategies to promote active and healthy lifestyles
- Assist in managing the Leisure team to ensure effective service delivery
- Collaborate with partners to deliver projects, identify funding, and secure investment
- Monitor and evaluate service impact using data to inform decisions
- Provide expert advice to stakeholders on sport and leisure matters
Requirements:
- A strategic mindset with creativity and innovation skills
