About The Role

As a Project Engineer (Streetworks), you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of streetworks projects, ensuring that engineering standards are met and maintained. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the management and coordination of streetworks projects, from initial design through to completion
  • Conducting site visits and inspections to assess project progress and compliance with specifications
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, contractors, and external organisations to ensure effective project delivery
  • Providing technical advice and guidance on engineering issues related to streetworks
  • Supporting the Senior Engineer in the overall management of the streetworks function

About You

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in project engineering, with a focus on streetworks or highways engineering
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
