Are you a compassionate, proactive nurse who loves providing gold standard care for patients and clients alike? West Bar is a busy Independent mixed Veterinary Hospital based in Banbury. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional clinical care with a personal touch. We are an independent mixed practice with a close knit team, modern facilities and a genuine focus on wellbeing for both our patients and our people.

We're looking for a Registered veterinary nurse, Student veterinary nurse or someone to start an apprenticeship to join our friendly and supportive team at West Bar Veterinary Hospital. This varied role will see you involved in:

  • All aspects of nursing from theatre and inpatient care to nurse consultations
  • Supporting students (if applicable)
  • Working closely with our vets to provide excellent patient care
  • Providing out of hours’ patient care

We encourage nurses to use their full range of skills, and there are opportunities to develop in areas of special interest.

About you:

  • RVN registered with the RCVS, an SVN currently enrolled on a recognised training programme, or a person looking to start an apprenticeship
  • You must hold 5 GCSE qualifications, including English, maths and science Grade 4 or above
  • A team player with great communication skills
  • Passionate about patient welfare and client experience
  • Keen to grow and learn within a supportive environment
