Role Summary
To assist the Crew Planning Manager with all crew planning activities, including crew rostering, training planning and crew travel, ensuring flight operations remain safe, compliant, efficient and cost effective.
Responsibilities
- Assist with creation and maintain crew rosters in accordance with the company’s flight time limitation scheme.
- Assist with planning initial and recurrent crew training and monitor qualification expiry dates.
- Assist with arrangement of crew travel and accommodation.
- Oversee the correct return of all training paperwork, update crew records and planning systems.
- Assist with reconciling invoices when required.
- Produce reports and planning information for management as required.
- Respond to operational changes and planning requests.
- Work closely with Flight Operations, Crew Training and flight crew.
- Support continuous improvement within the department.
- Academic/Educational Requirements
- Educated to ‘A’ level or equivalent
Required Skills/Experience/knowledge
Good organisational and administration skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities.
- Experience using crew planning or rostering systems is desirable.
- Knowledge of UK CAA Flight Time Limitations is desirable.
