Responsibilities
- Operation and maintenance of conventional sewage treatment plants and pumping stations to meet quality standards
- Running advanced wastewater treatment and sludge process plants
- Ensuring compliance with company policy, processes, and procedures
- Ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of all colleagues, the public, and yourself at all times
- Working outside of normal working hours, including evenings and weekends
- Dealing with adverse weather conditions and challenging situations; physical work required
- Exercising excellent decision making, reporting, and communication skills; work unsupervised in an industrial or process plant
Qualifications
- Mechanical experience desirable
- Confined spaces training will be provided as part of role; must be eligible to work in confined spaces
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, maths, and a technical subject
- Ability to work outside in all conditions
- Valid driving licence, ideally category BE
- Flexible approach to work
