If so, our Northern Water Recycling team is looking for a Treatment Operator to cover sites in Wiltshire, including Chippenham and Trowbridge.
What you\’ll do
Based in either the Chippenham or Westbury area, your role will involve:
- The operation and maintenance of conventional sewage treatment plants and pumping stations to meet quality standards
- Running advanced wastewater treatment and sludge process plants
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, processes, and procedures
- Ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of all colleagues, the public, and yourself at all times
- Working outside of normal working hours, including evenings, weekends, and on a standby rota.
What you\’ll need
Experience working unsupervised in an industrial or process plant is essential. Electrical or mechanical experience would be desirable. Confined spaces training will be provided.
You will also need:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, maths, and a technical subject
- To be comfortable working outside in all conditions
- A valid driving licence, ideally with category BE
- Flexibility in your approach to work.
