As a valued member of our in‑house Pensions team, you will play an important role in delivering a supportive, high‑quality service across our Group schemes. Your days will be varied — from guiding members through their options to handling regular calculations and keeping our processes running smoothly.

What you will do:

  • Calculate pension benefits and talk members through their options in a clear, reassuring way.
  • Request cash disinvestments, monitor cash flow, reconcile payments and contributions, and keep our systems up to date.
  • Help manage the team's workload in line with agreed service levels and contribute to quarterly reporting.
  • Ensure monthly contribution payments are made on time and in line with statutory requirements.
  • Support the production of annual statements, pension increases, scheme accounts and member communications.
  • Take part in member meetings, occasional site visits and onboarding sessions with new colleagues.
  • Maintain strong audit controls and ensure all processes meet internal and external standards.

What you will need:

  • Experience in pension administration with a good understanding of legislation.
  • Warm, confident communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • The ability to interpret complex information and explain it simply and clearly.
  • Strong organisational skills, good judgement and the ability to balance multiple deadlines.
  • High numeracy, accuracy and solid IT skills (experience with Profund is a bonus).
  • A proactive, accountable approach and the confidence to take ownership of your work.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support colleagues in a small, friendly team.
