The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
The role supports Quantity Surveyors within Engineering and Asset Management Delivery teams, which cover the entire Wessex Water region.
In this role, you will:
- support the financial and commercial management of multiple schemes
- contribute to the monthly forecasting of work delivered
- assist in the procurement process for sub-contracts and purchase orders
- administer the payments and cost allocations
- provide support to the team to achieve best value for the company whilst maintaining commercial standards, achieving corporate and reporting timetables and ensuring compliance with corporate governance
- build trusted relationships with colleagues and external contractors.
What you'll need:
- The ability to manipulate, understand and analyse large volumes of data.
- An eye for detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to learn and understand new systems.
- Experience with the finance system Agresso (Unit4). This is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 skills such as Excel (including pivot tables and formulas) and experience using Teams and Outlook.
- A willingness to learn new systems.
