Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled individual to manage deliveries from our Mere facility to various water treatment centres across the region. This role involves working closely with our dedicated team of production technicians to support the handling, processing, and changeover of essential materials. If you possess a strong track record in logistics and a commitment to excellence, we encourage you to apply.
We are accepting applications from individuals based in a range of areas including; Trowbridge, Shaftesbury, Warminster, Frome and Wincanton.
What you\'ll do
Regularly coordinating with internal teams, you will need to liaise with Production Managers to ensure any issues are identified and resolved quickly. You will also:
- provide safe delivery and collection of chemicals to/from sites
- complete delivery paperwork
- complete stock control and internal cost reporting
- liaise with site staff and suppliers during manual handling/loading
- do daily vehicle checks and compliance with ADR and tachograph regulations
- provide training and additional support to Production Technicians for handling chlorine and Sulphur dioxide (changing cylinders)
- liaise with the regional technician, ensuring procedures are followed and completed to a high standard
- provide monthly details to finance for internal costing
- take ownership of managing and maintaining our central stocks

Essential requirements
- ADR certification (Class 2.3 and Class 8)
- C1 driving licence (7.5 tonne entitlement)
- a valid CPC and digital tachograph card
- a clean driving record and knowledge of road safety legislation.
