Join Our Fantastic Team as a GP Partner in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire
Location: Park and St Francis Surgery, Chandlers Ford, Hampshire.
Sessions: 5–6 sessions per week
Start Date: October 2025
Practice Size: 16,400 patients
Park and St Francis Surgery is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and dedicated GP to replace a retiring Partner to join our thriving, patient-focused practice.
There are currently 7 partners and 3 salaried list holding GPs.
We are a successful training and sessional research practice, delivering care over 2 sites, with high QOF achievement and rated “Good” after the last CQC visit.
The practice has an excellent working relationship with the other local GP surgery, and together we form the Chandlers Ford PCN.
The PCN provides an on-site pharmacy team, ANP, musculoskeletal practitioner, mental health team, social prescriber, and care coordinators.
In addition to the local Network, we are shareholders of “Tri-locality-care,” an organization formed to deliver some of the LES that practices were unable to deliver themselves, including evening working.
How we work:
• EMIS system
• Appointments are handled by AI triaging (Rapid health) and nurse triaging.
• Workflow team therefore very little clinical documents.
• F12 EMIS protocols that reduce your workload – referrals, joint injections, EOLC medications, and others.
• Daily morning coffee breaks for clinical discussions.
• Training practice for GP registrars and hosting medical students.
• Monthly ‘lunch and learn’ with a local consultant.
The Job:
• Currently seeing 12x patients per session (90% are face to face)
• Admin and catch-up slots – individual set up
• Weekly GP partner and salaried GP meeting
• There are no evening or weekend commitments
• Duty is pro-rata and not on set days
• 6 weeks annual leave, 1 week study leave
• Work laptops (if wanted)
Local Area:
Chandlers Ford is a small town situated between Southampton and Winchester. It has excellent local schools and colleges, and the motorway and rail networks allow efficient travel to London and other major UK cities. Southampton airport is less than a 10-minute drive from the surgery and has direct flights to several European cities.
There are many outdoor leisure activity opportunities afforded by our proximity to the New Forest and South Downs National Parks, as well as several beaches, plentiful sailing opportunities, and the UNESCO registered Jurassic Coast all within easy reach.
