We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our friendly and supportive accounts team. Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing the purchase ledger process, from handling purchase orders to processing invoices and reconciliations. The Purchase ledger function provides an indispensable service to the accounts team, underpinning the wider financial stability of the business through their robust processes and systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Accurately match, check, and code invoices
- Process staff expenses in a timely manner
- Set up and maintain supplier accounts, ensuring all details are up to date
- Reconcile supplier statements to maintain accuracy and transparency
- Organise and file invoices efficiently
- Input data with precision and attention to detail
- Act as the first point of contact for purchase ledger queries
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Continuously review systems and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement
