Wessexme is part of the Andwis technical services group of companies. We are seeking an organised and Customer Focused individual and your main responsibility will be to provide administrative support to the Preconstruction Team.
Based in our Yeovil office, you will work as part of the Projects Team alongside other Administrators. While you will have your own specific responsibilities, there will also be shared tasks that you will work on together with the other Administrators. Good communication and teamwork will therefore be important.
This is a fast-paced role, and you should enjoy working in a busy environment and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Logging of all enquiries received including registering on Microsoft NAV, raising of folders on SharePoint, and downloading of all documentation.
- Review tender documentation to understand the requirements and deadlines.
- Saving of all revisions and communications received during tender period, communicating as necessary with the estimators and supporting them as required.
- Where necessary, coordinate and manage the preparation and submission of tenders and bids in accordance with client specifications and company guidelines and work closely with internal departments to gather necessary documentation and input.
- Attendance at weekly review meetings.
- Maintain a bid library of standard documentation, templates, and credentials.
- Ensure timely delivery of all submissions, tracking progress and managing timelines.
- Monitor tender portals and identify relevant opportunities for the business.
- Ensure all bids comply with company branding, formatting, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all submissions, feedback, and outcomes on NAV.
- Assist in post-tender clarifications and document submissions when required.
- Run monthly reports from NAV to support board meeting requirements.
- Raising of job numbers from NAV including transferring of information to delivery team, updating folders, and liaison with finance department in obtaining credit checks to ensure sufficient cover is in place.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of bid processes and tools.
- To answer the department telephones and take messages as necessary.
- Monitoring and ordering of supplies for the Preconstruction Team in a timely manner.
- Provide administrative support to the estimators.

Remuneration:
- Salary β Β£16,785.60 p/a based on a 24 hour week
- 25 days holiday pro rata (plus bank holidays)
