We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a very well-established HVAC company. This position will predominantly be for the service, maintenance and breakdown of splits, VRVs, VRFs, multi-splits, and air handling equipment for residential and commercial clients. Experience of commercial refrigeration systems would be advantageous.
The right person for this position will already have a strong working background as an air conditioning engineer within the service and maintenance sector. We do require the engineer to have a full UK driving license and current F gas certification. The role is based in Yeovil.
Requirements:
- Strong working background as an Air Conditioning engineer
- F gas 2079
- Ideally NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification in Air Conditioning
- Strong background in fault finding and repairs
- Ideally worked on a variety of unit manufacturers
- Full UK driving licence
- CSCS certificate/card
- Flexible approach to work
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- High standard of workmanship
- Reliable and Professional Attitude
- Proactive and problem‑solving attitude with an eye for detail
Duties:
- Planned preventative maintenance and fault‑finding on air‑conditioning and air‑handling systems
- Remedial works such as compressor changes, PCB replacements, pump and component changes etc.
- Documentation such as work sheets, F‑gas and service reports
