Wessex Property Care is based in North Dorset and is part of the Wessex Group of companies who have been in business for over 60 years. Due to our continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced Plumber Multi Operative to join our Property Care Division.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- This role requires a customer focussed, self-motivated individual with a broad range of experience.
- You will be tasked with a variety of repairs, maintenance and installation works, including but not limited to:
- Responsive repairs relating to all types plumbing works
- Installation of sanitary ware
- Internal drainage issues
- Unvented and vented cylinder installations
- Occasional 1st & 2nd fix work
- Basic tiling
- Basic carpentry
- Out of hours make safe service
Essential competencies:
- Minimum city and guilds craft (6035) Level 2 in plumbing
- Good knowledge of tiling and drainage systems
- Punctual
- ICT Literate
- Valid UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Level 3 city and guilds craft (6035) Level 3 in plumbing
- PDA knowledge
- Unvented and vented hot water storage systems qualification
- Basic understanding of NMHF Schedule of Rates
- Previous experience of working within the Social Housing sector
Remuneration:
- Salary £37,000 pa (40 hours per week)
- 24 days holiday (pro-rata) plus Bank Holidays
