Wessex ME is based in North Dorset and is part of the Andwis technical services group of companies. Due to our continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced Administrator to join the team at our head office in Shaftesbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administration support for the business which will include the day-to-day management of timesheet delivery ensuring deadlines are met.

Main Duties & responsibilities:

  • To assist with incoming calls for the department, directing them to the relevant member of staff, ensuring customer service standards are met at all times.
  • To assist with engineers and contract managers' queries and requests, raising purchase orders when required, to assist with the smooth running of the department.
  • Ordering of materials, access equipment, accommodation – associated with jobs.
  • Order plant where required as either hire or new purchases.
  • Issue Subcontractor orders.
  • Raise new works orders.
  • Provide administrative support to the Project Team Contract Managers regarding the running of project works.
  • Raise new client cards setting up all required fields and information.
  • Import certificates assigning to managers and updating NAV to status.
  • Compilation of larger scale electrical certificates/reports for issue to client.
  • To assist with administrative tasks as and when required by the department.

Remuneration:

  • Salary £26,208 pa (40 hours per week, office-based Mon-Fri)
  • 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
