We are looking for a Customer Service Apprentice to join Wessex Electricals. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-known business whilst studying for a recognised level 2 qualification at our head office in Shaftesbury, Dorset. Throughout the apprenticeship, you will learn how to deliver an exceptional level of customer service which we are known for.

Customer Service Practitioner L2
Main Duties & responsibilities:
- To coordinate repair calls, planned works orders and engineers ensuring that deadlines are met and that customer service standards are met at all times.
- To ensure all appointments are made with the clients and that engineers have full working schedules.
- To ensure appointments are booked for the relevantly skilled engineer for the correct job
- To update customers during the service process to ensure that they are kept up to date with the progress of the work, this will include spreadsheets, portals, and email communication.
- To check the paperwork that is generated by the jobs and ensure that any outstanding paperwork is chased before the job is closed down.
- To answer the department telephones in a timely manner and take messages when necessary for other members of staff.

Essential competencies:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Grades 4/C in English and Mathβs at GCSE
- Confident with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- High level of accuracy
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Customer Focused.
- To be able to work well in a team.
Desirable:
- Excellent ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively to meet targets and deadlines.
- Good attention to detail.
- Can work well under pressure.
Remuneration
- Salary β Β£15,704 p/a (40 hours per week, office based, Mon-Fri)
- 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
