Wessex Compressors Ltd are approaching 34 years of expertise as a premier provider of compressed air system maintenance, installations, and breakdown support. We serve a wide range of customers across Dorset and the surrounding counties and are looking for a reliable Maintenance Engineer to join our expert team in Poole.
The Role
As a Compressed Air System Engineer, you will be the face of the company, ensuring customers' systems stay operational and efficient. Your day-to-day will include:
- Preventive maintenance of compressors and ancillary equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults on-site
- Installation and commissioning of equipment, including pipework systems
Requirements
Essential
- Solid fault-finding skills across both electrical (230V & 415V) and mechanical systems
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Friendly, professional attitude
- Willingness to work across various customer sites
- Based in (or willing to relocate to) the Dorset area
Desirable
- Previous experience in the compressed air industry
- IPAF licence
- Forklift licence
- Trailer licence
