At Wessex Autocentres, we pride ourselves on delivering top-tier vehicle maintenance and exceptional customer service. We run a busy, modern, and fully equipped workshop with a fantastic team environment. We are currently looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester to join us and help keep our customers moving safely.

Location: Ensbury Park, Bournemouth

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Plus Bonuses

Term: Full-time, Permanent

The Role

  • Performing VOSA/DVSA MOT tests in accordance with safety standards.
  • Conducting routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs.
  • Utilizing diagnostic equipment to identify and fix complex faults (electrical and mechanical).
  • Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment.

What We Are Looking For

  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • MOT License: A valid, current DVSA MOT Testing License (Class 4 and 7 preferred).
  • Experience: Proven experience working as a technician in a busy workshop environment.
  • Skills: Strong diagnostic skills and a sharp eye for detail.
  • License: A full, valid UK driving license.
  • Attitude: A team player with great communication skills and a passion for cars.
