Make a Difference in Intermediary Distribution

Wesleyan Intermediary Distribution are seeking a confident and experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing Intermediary Distribution team. Working alongside a Regional Sales Manager, you'll develop relationships across the intermediary market, helping advisers understand the benefits of Wesleyan's investment offering. You'll play a key role in generating profitable inflows, developing new opportunities and building long-term partnerships with Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) and advisory firms across your assigned region.

Your Impact

  • Build and develop enduring relationships with IFAs, advisory firms and key intermediary partners to generate profitable business inflows.
  • Deliver against quarterly sales targets and agreed key performance indicators, contributing to the wider Intermediary Distribution strategy.
  • Partner closely with Regional Sales Managers to identify, develop and convert new business opportunities within your region.
  • Engage with advisers through telephone and Microsoft Teams meetings, promoting Wesleyan's investment offering and identifying business opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams including Marketing and Social Media to create and maximise new business opportunities.

What You'll Bring

  • Strong financial services experience, particularly within the intermediary, investment, pensions or retirement markets.
  • Proven ability to build, manage and develop successful adviser and customer relationships.
  • Knowledge of life, pensions, savings, investment and retirement products within the advisory market.
  • Ability to apply technical knowledge confidently to adviser and client scenarios.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal.
  • Commercial awareness with an understanding of sales performance metrics and business drivers.
  • Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • QCF Level 4 qualification or a willingness to work towards achieving it.
