Make a Difference
Under the Direction of the Head of Intermediary Distribution, you will promote Wesleyan’s With Profit product to Financial Advisers with the aim of driving new business sales and generating revenue. You will be the key point of contact with adviser firms, organising face to face and digital contact, presenting, relationship management and a full range of stakeholder management activity for the benefit of the Society.
Your Impact
- Deliver sales revenue through the sale of the With Profit product for Wesleyan’s Intermediary Distribution business.
- Develop “Business to Business” IFA relationships and feedback to help develop capability and approach, to support future customer growth.
- Develop, maintain and grow existing and new adviser relationships in person, via meetings, emails and telephone calls with a view to developing scale and growth in the operation.
- Challenge objections with the aim of getting the adviser to “buy in” and invest into the Wesleyan With Profit Growth Funds.
- Deliver and own strong sales performance.
- Be responsible for conducting own business plan, as agreed with Head of Intermediary Distribution.
- Responsible for the production of MI reports as appropriate.
- Actively maintain and develop skills and knowledge to adhere to training and competency standards.
- Use judgement to strengthen our positive risk and control culture by identifying, assessing and managing risk in your business area.
- Constantly maintain the principle of treating customers fairly (TCF) in all transactions and interactions with intermediaries/stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively as part of the wider Intermediary team.
- Maintain the company CRM system.
What You’ll Bring
- An accomplished Relationship and Sales Manager with proven track record of penetrating and maintaining business relationships in the IFA Market.
- Introducing existing relationships for the mutual benefit of all.
- Good understanding of the financial advice process, ideally DipFS level 4 qualified.
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.
- Understanding and experience of the UK with profit sector and the investment Platform Market.
- A very good understanding of the UK Financial Services regulatory landscape.
- Experience and success in managing external partnerships.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, able to innovate and challenge existing ways of thinking.
- High degree of Emotional Intelligence.
- Experience of operating and influencing effectively at all levels within Financial Services.
- Demonstrable focus on the customer, taking ownership and using initiative.
- Exceptional organisational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
