Location: Hybrid working (office based in Birmingham) – typically 2 days in the office per week

This role has been created to support a project which introduces new technology and ways of working to the business. You will support Wesleyan Financial Services (WFS) Field staff by maintaining smooth processes in relation to the WesInvest Hub, resolving issues as they arise. Using knowledge gained to enhance existing processes to optimise the end-to-end experience for both advisers and customers. Establishing strong stakeholder relationships with the advisers, managers and external providers, enabling them to provide their customers with an excellent end-to-end advice journey. Adapt to a changing remit and build strong working relationships with both the field and head office teams. Support colleagues in other roles, providing feedback as appropriate. Oversee the ongoing workload of the team.

Your Impact: Here’s how you’ll make a difference:

  • Leading procedure reviews, risk management oversight, and root cause analysis of complaints and breaches.
  • Overseeing the workload of WFS Platform Administrator/s, delegating as appropriate.
  • Conducting quality assurance checks in respect of work completed by WFS Platform Administrators.
  • Acting as point of escalation where necessary and facilitating further escalation where appropriate.
  • Handling complaints where they relate to WesInvest administrative process, referring as appropriate.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Previous experience in an administrative support role.
  • Excellent levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to prioritise own workload to ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Able to work with others to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Able to work in a team-based environment, with minimal supervision.
  • An organised and flexible approach to work, demonstrating initiative and a "can do" attitude.
  • Constantly looking to improve existing processes.
  • A good understanding of MS Excel functions, including formulae and calculations.
  • A good understanding of MS Word functions, including mail merge.
  • Good understanding of Wesleyan internal systems (CRM, CDS, DMS).
  • Ideally, some knowledge of investments, pensions, UCITS, unit trusts, With Profits funds, or SIPPs.
  • Knowledge of Financial Services Industry.
  • Understanding of the WFS Advice Process.
