Your Impact
- To aid delivery sales revenue through the sale/education of the Wesleyan With Profits Growth funds for Wesleyan's Intermediary Distribution business across the UK.
- Develop, maintain and grow existing and new adviser relationships in person, via meetings, emails and telephone calls with a view to developing awareness and understanding of the Wesleyan With Profits Growth funds.
- Challenge objections with the aim of getting the adviser to “buy in” and invest in Wesleyan’s With Profit Growth Funds.
- Support the delivery of Intermediary Distribution teams stretching goals/objectives agreed with your line manager and in support of the Society’s requirements.
- Contribute to relevant marketing and PR content utilising knowledge and experience of the intermediary marketplace, with the aim of creating awareness and understanding of the Wesleyan With Profit Growth funds.
- Be responsible for conducting own business plan, as agreed with Head of Intermediary Distribution, but also supporting the needs of the Regional Sales Managers BDM’s and Marketing roles within the team.
- Actively maintain and develop skills and knowledge to adhere to training and competency standards.
- Use judgement to strengthen our positive risk and control culture by identifying, assessing and managing risk in your business area.
- To constantly maintain the principles of all applicable regulations and Society standards in all transactions and interactions with intermediaries/stakeholders.
- To work collaboratively as part of the wider Intermediary team.
- Maintenance of the company CRM system.
What You’ll Bring
- An accomplished Investment Specialist with a proven track record of engaging/educating key business relationships in the intermediary Market.
- Understanding and experience of the UK with profit sector and the investment Platform Market.
- Introducing existing relationships for the mutual benefit of all.
- Good understanding of the financial advice process, ideally level 4 qualified.
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.
- A very good understanding of the UK Financial Services regulatory landscape.
- Experience and success in managing external partnerships.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, able to innovate and challenge existing ways of thinking.
- High degree of emotional intelligence.
- Experience of operating and influencing effectively at all levels within Financial Services.
- Demonstrable focus on the customer taking ownership and using initiative.
- Exceptional organisational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
