<b>Job Description</b><p><b>DECK OFFICER VACANCY<br></b><b>Permanent • Full Time • Dartmouth</b></p><p>The Wesley Group have been supplying services to the funeral industry for over 25 years.</p><p>Wesley Offshore will be dedicated to the scattering of ashes at sea from ex-RNLI lifeboats.</p><p><b>Benefits:</b></p><ul><li>£33k-£35k Pro-rata DOE</li><li>25 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays)</li><li>Pension scheme</li><li>Health Plan</li></ul><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Assisting the Coxswain with the safe operation and navigation of the Vessels, working as part of<br> a team, whilst maintaining patience with your colleagues even when working under pressure.</li></ul><p><b>Key Duties:</b></p><ul><li>Maintaining the safety & welfare of all on board</li><li>Ensuring the vessel is appropriately secured to allow our guests to safely embark and disembark</li><li>Greeting & interacting with our guests • Operation of the vessels systems including CCTV, AV and VHF systems</li><li>Undertaking checks of the vessels equipment</li><li>Passage planning, provisioning, briefings & safety on board</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>RYA Qualification (Yachtmaster/Skipper) </li><li>VHF / DSC / Radar Operator</li><li>Basic Sea Survival</li><li>Advanced First Aid at Sea </li><li>RYA Diesel Maintenance</li></ul><p>Closing date: 6th Jan 2025</p><p><b>Please click apply to email your CV.</b></p><p>We respect and value diversity of background, skills and perspectives.</p>
