Your Role as an Enrolled Nurse
You’ll deliver high quality nursing care for residents by:
- Observing, monitoring and interpreting symptoms and changes of residents.
- Administering schedule 2, 3 and 4 medications under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Contributing to the formulation and implementation of care plans.
- Assisting in the orientation of new staff.
- Undertaking procedures within the scope of knowledge and ability.
- Supporting other members of the nursing staff and Allied Health Team.
What We’re Looking For
- Current Enrolled Nurse Certificate with the Queensland Nursing Council with endorsement for Medication.
- Minimum of 1 years' experience.
- Availability to work night shift.
- Ability to provide high level nursing care within the Endorsed “Enrolled Nurse Scope of Practice”.
- Experience with Nursing Care Plans and other care documentation.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy).
- Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.
- Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work.
