About the Role
We are looking for HGV Class 1 & 2 drivers to work full time for days on our waste water contract. Driving a vacuum tanker, the work incorporates tankering various non-hazardous liquids from sites to disposal facilities across the region. You will be provided with a phone and an app to outline the jobs that have been assigned to you by the Operations Supervisor. Due to the nature of the role, a full HGV Class 1 or Class 2 UK driver’s licence with CPC and up-to-date digi tachograph card is required.
Hours and Salary
£17 per hour, 6am - 6pm, 40.25 hours averaged over an 8 week period. 4 days on, 4 days off.

Responsibilities
- Operate HGV-mounted vacuum and tankers for drainage and waste management tasks.
- Independently manage job sites, ensuring safe practices and high-quality work.
- Communicate professionally with customers.
- Accurately complete job reports and system updates.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance, reporting any faults promptly.
- Maintain high health and safety standards, including proper PPE use and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- HGV Class 1 or Class 2 driving licence.
- Valid in-date CPC and up-to-date tachograph card.
