At Cavendish Nuclear, we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together. If you join us, you can play your part as a Senior Document Controller at any of our key locations in Leicester (Leicestershire), Bristol or Warrington (Cheshire).
The role:
- Managing document registration and control within Electronic Document Management Systems for internal, client, and subcontractor documentation.
- Reviewing document formatting, coding, quality standards, and approval processes to ensure compliance.
- Coordinating the circulation of documents for review, approval, acceptance, and information sharing.
- Producing daily, weekly, and monthly document control and status reports for project stakeholders.
- Leading archiving, close-out, and project information handover activities at project completion.
This role is based at one of our key locations Leicester (Leicestershire), Bristol or Warrington (Cheshire). You will work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexible working arrangements are available, with a mixture of office-based and remote working.
Essential experience of the Senior Document Controller:
- Extensive recent experience in document control within a complex project environment.
- Strong experience applying document management processes across large-scale programmes.
- Understanding of contracting methodologies such as FIDIC, NEC, or JCT.
- Advanced knowledge of document management systems, processes, and best practice.
- Experience supporting projects throughout the full lifecycle, from bid phase through to close-out.
Qualifications for the Senior Document Controller:
- Relevant qualification in Information Management.
- National Diploma in Business Administration (Level 4) or equivalent qualification.
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
