The role
As a Senior Cost Engineer, you’ll provide vital cost engineering support across high-profile projects that underpin national energy security and defence. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact while advancing your career in a dynamic environment.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Provide cost engineering support for complex projects
- Manage project controls and earned value processes
- Handle resourcing applications for payments
- Support subcontract management activities
- Collaborate with commercial, procurement, planning, and engineering teams
This is a permanent position, working 37 hours per week, based in Warrington, Cheshire. Hybrid working patterns are available, with a minimum of three days in the office per week.
Essential experience of the Senior Cost Engineer:
- Strong IT proficiency, including Excel and SAP
- Proven experience in cost engineering
- Awareness of P6 or Risk Hive
- Experience with systems and cost capture
- Risk awareness and planning capability
