The role involves providing specialist support and guidance across the business, helping to ensure compliance with import, export and international trade regulations. You will work closely with project teams and key stakeholders to embed trade controls requirements into projects from the outset, reducing risk and enabling successful programme delivery.

Day-to-day, you will be:
- Providing advice and support to project teams on trade controls and export compliance requirements.
- Assisting with the preparation and management of import, export and transfer licence applications.
- Supporting the identification and management of trade control risks across projects and business activities.
- Working with engineering, commercial, procurement and business development teams to ensure compliance is considered throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitoring sanctions, embargoes and restricted party requirements while supporting audits, training and continuous improvement activities.
This role is full time working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working patterns are available. Regular travel to Babcock sites including Andover, Bovington, Bristol, Plymouth and Walsall will be expected.

- Willingness to learn and develop specialist knowledge in UK and international trade controls and export compliance.

Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
